Elanora grew fast through the late 1970s and 1980s, with estates like The Pines going in around 1982. Most homes here are freestanding family houses, and a lot of them are now 40-odd years old. That’s around the age when a roof starts telling you it needs work.
Common jobs in Elanora
- Ridge caps that need rebedding and repointing. Mortar from the original build has had decades to crack and crumble.
- Moss and lichen on the shady sides of roofs, especially under big trees.
- Gutters full of leaves, which overflow in heavy rain and rot the fascia behind them.
- Original roof colours that look dated next to a renovated house.
A roof for the next chapter
A full restoration brings an original Elanora roof back up to scratch. It’s cleaned, broken tiles are replaced, the caps are rebedded and repointed, and then it’s coated in a colour that suits the house today. Being so close to Palm Beach and Currumbin, I choose products that can handle the salt as well.
Renovating or selling? A fresh roof, a soft wash and an exterior repaint change the whole street frontage. That’s the Whole-Exterior Package: one job, one quote, one contact.
